BUILDING MaTERIAL AND BUILDERS’ MERCHANTS PANEL
Assessing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, a preliminary step to making any changes to the company’s marketing policy, requires regular monitoring of the company’s market dynamics and its competitive positioning. I + C Institute has thus been developing a builders’ merchants panel since 1987. Gathering such information allows the positioning of the different brands on a large number of building materials and products to be monitored once a year, as well as yearly sales trends, among others.
Based on a sample of 2,500 outlets, the panel allows the following indicators to be tracked for each material and distribution network:
- Brands’ market presence
- Market share of brands present
- Price of main products
